ANONYMOMMA'S
WORLD November 2003
Sometimes we just need to
have a bit of a laugh. This site isn't about great traditional art,
although it does have some pretty unique graphics - it's about having fun.
On-line continuously since 1996, she calls herself the “Internet's Original
Bag Lady”. |
WILD
AFRICA ART May 2003
In 1992, Don Heywood was
commissioned for a formal, life-size portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
II. Shortly after completing the portrait, he took up residency in
South Africa, which has afforded him the opportunity to pursue his love
of animals with both his artwork and his commitment to the conservation
of wildlife. |
BRADY
ART March 2003
With what many consider
to be no longer usable, David Brady turns into works of art. A mentor
to budding young artists, this Californian resident has garnered accolades
from around the world, having been selected as the Artist in Residence
in Kawaguchi, Japan. |
LESLEY
CRAWFORD - GAIA ART January 2003
Wildlife, Greek mythology,
poetry, and literature all serve as the inspiration for Lesley Crawford's
art. Lesley turned to her creative side in 1990 when she was no longer
able to continue in her previous line of work. Her on-line gallery
holds a sampling of her work available as prints and originals. |

| Richard
Gardner sent an e-mail at the beginning of January 2000 informing me of
the following site: THE
ART DEADLINES LIST. While not falling
into the category that I use for the review pages, it is a useful resource
that artists and others will find beneficial. "A monthly newsletter
providing information about juried exhibitions and competitions, call for
entries/proposals/papers, poetry & other writing contests, jobs, internships,
scholarships, residencies, fellowships, casting calls, auditions, tryouts,
grants, festivals, funding, financial aid, and other opportunities for
artists, art educators, and art students of all ages." |
