 Well
now, isn't this interesting. I was trying to create a new 'end' page
for the band's site and stumbled onto the Find Horizontal Edges filter.  |
Only trouble is, I was trying
for a gold effect and never did figure out how to get it before I had to
get the new page up. Did find this metallic blue and it made me wish
that the Guns 4 Hire site was not all in red. |
 A
couple of days later, I realized that if using gold text and the filter
created a blue image, then maybe using blue text and the filter would make
gold. And what do you know -- it worked! |
 Now
that I've found the tubes, I've got this fascination with buttons again.
Geez ... full circle. |
| There's
my latest fixation -- load time. I have cable access and a pentium
so nothing seems slow to me. I have to keep reminding myself that
most people use the old dial-up system through the phone lines. I
need to watch what I put on the Guns site or people will be taking naps
while waiting for the pages to load. It doesn't matter on this site
... you KNOW it's going to take awhile. |
